The three osc architecture is cool of course. I've only played an 'old' Moog once maybe but it's a different kettle of fish, they sound a lot more resonant and rasping than people assume. Maybe this one will finally prove me wrong but they all seem to sound more Voyager than Minimoog the emus. As it is you can't help but feel a bit irritated they didn't include those releases with 9 for pre-owners and then get some more stuff out there for X. Not generally a fan of this kind of cynicism (lie) but they should have held back on Minifreak and Acid V until V X came out so it looked like there was more to be had for the upgrade.
